What we do
Foster homes, not kennels.
Animals waiting on adoption with us sleep in real beds, get used to kids and other pets, and arrive at their new family with a behavior profile built over weeks, not a label stuck to a crate.

The core program. Matched mentor and student meet weekly during the school year, with optional summer contact. Average match duration over two years.
Group Mentoring Circles
Small groups of four to six students with two adult facilitators. Useful for students on a waiting list and for topics like college applications or job readiness.
College Pipeline
Juniors and seniors receive help with applications, FAFSA, and campus visits. Ninety-two percent of our seniors applied to at least one college last year.
Every dollar moves an animal closer to home.
Our budget is public. Over 91% of donations go directly to animal care, not overhead or fundraising.
